The first leg of the two-round Thompson cup saw a fine victory for the Java St. Andrew Society team and there is no doubt that the St George's Society
will be sharpening up their skills for the return match in November.

Hosted by the St. Georges the competition took place a the Riverside club and was marked by a sunny day and thankfully no rain,
A great day was had by all and we look forward to the Novermber rematch

A big thank you to Rex Whistler for organising the day and to our Golf Convenor Neil Stewart for getting the JSAS team on the field.
A big thanks also to Joan and Ronnie Steele for stepping in when the computer decided to die!
